At Fleet Glass Services, we know our Mining customers are integral participants in the development of our country’s infrastructure and must meet specific government requirements as it pertains to their vendor selection.
We are an MSHA Part 48 metal/non-metal certified company, and our technicians are trained and certified to conduct work within above-ground mines and quarries and strictly adhering to MSHA’s requirements for process, work, equipment, and materials used while on site.
All our technicians undergo the Red Cross First Aid training program provided by the NCDOL Mine and Quarry Bureau upon hire. Each technician wears steel-toed boots, company uniform, high visibility vest, safety glasses, hard hat and work gloves.
Each work vehicle contains wheel chalks, a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and back-up alarms. Additionally, technicians are task trained on the use of body harnesses and lanyards and maintain these in their vehicles.
We specialize in the sourcing and installing of OEM glass replacements and also provide custom glass cutting on site to save you both time and money. All of our technicians carry stock sheets of glass on their vans and are trained to measure and cut replacement glass while working on your equipment. Our team of mobile technicians come directly to the equipment needing service helping to keep your operation functioning and reduce downtime.
